When you sit in front of your computer to make money working from home you stand an excellent chance to be successful if you contain one characteristic. PASSION! If like what you are doing, and believe to the point of being passionate about it, you will be able to turn that into a money making business online.

Money motivates all of us when working online, but it is not enough when you are not making enough of it. An entrepreneur getting started with a home business and wanting to make extra money should strongly believe in their abilities.

They will have to be thick skinned and not concerned with the comments and opinions of others. People are just plain jealous. Having a belief and passions does not require outside approval because you already are providing that for yourself.

To make money working from home you have to be able to focus on your own goals. Who cares about what your friends or family think. Unless they will pay your bills they do not get a vote. Period!

So what will you hear from others that you have to block out?

1. Internet businesses are basically scams. Many people around the world believe this because they have lost money online. Many times when you dig deep the real reason they failed was not due to a scam, but rather to their own lack of effort and ability.

2. How much money are you making? When the answer is zero sometimes it is hard to feel good about what you are doing. Many successful businesses struggled at one time or another before they become financially viable. Do not get down about where you are at. Concentrate on where you are going!

3. Why will this work when nothing else has! Your best defense on this is to honestly assess why you have failed in the past. Many times it is due to lack of working hard your self.

To make extra money today you can work smart and use the Internet. This still takes discipline, but the odds are stacked much more in your favor than at any other time in the past.

4. Finally when you hear negatives from others this can lead to fear of failure. That is only natural and another reason why passion is so important. Keep trying harder and look at failure as a part of the learning process.
