When you combine a well-written article, with a popular directory, you can create as many back links to your site as you are able to write articles. Out of this has sprung up submission services where you can write one article and have it submitted to multiple directories with one click. This allows you to create literally hundreds of incoming links to your site that can be posted in that directory for future visitors. As you can see incoming links become important to your Internet business because they are how you are found online. You can also use off-line methods of advertising and create links to your site in places such as the newspaper, magazine ads, and direct mail. Nothing however, will be as effective long-term, as getting as many incoming links online where they can be found easily found via search engines, and when people are surfing the Internet.
