What is a 2 tier affiliate program? Anyone that will be using affiliate programs to make money needs to know what a 2 tier affiliate program is because it can mean a huge difference in the money you make every month. So what is a 2 tier affiliate program? As it states, there are 2 tiers and on the first tier you will be the affiliate who is selling the product or service that is offered by the affiliate program. This is one way you will earn money. The 2nd tier is how you make money from any people that you recruit into the program, also known as sub-affiliates. In other words, when you sign up someone under you to be an affiliate and they start earning commissions from their sales, you will make commissions from every sale that your sub-affiliate makes. So if they make a sale and they get 40% commission then you will get 10% in commissions from their efforts. It is very important that you take your time in choosing the 2 tier affiliate program that you will be promoting. They are not all the same and they don't offer the same commissions. So it is imperative that you read the small print so you can find out how the percentage is calculated. It is also important that you look for three different things with the affiliate programs that you want to promote that are 2 tier. One: You want to make sure that the affiliate program has a great product or service. This is imperative to your success because if the product or service is not good then you will struggle to make money or you will just plain not ever make any money. So always look at the product or service and do some research to find out what others are saying about it. Find out if there is people out there that want what you will be promoting. Two: Obviously the second thing you want to watch for is a 2 tier affiliate program that has a great commission. Three: The 2 tier affiliate program needs to have a high conversion rate. In other words, there needs to be a good number of people that have signed up as affiliate or people who have bought the product. When you are choosing a 2 tier affiliate program to promote your ultimate goal is to find the best commissions. Just remember that it is important to take your time when choosing and look over everything before you decide.
